Opening Reception: January 28, 2025, 1:00PM/ February 27th from 6:30PM-8:30PM/ The exhibit will close on March 28th

"Pathways to Freedom: We Get to Tell the Story" highlights historical objects and documents from the Linwood Pledger, Jr. Archive of Black History curated by archivist and historian Dorothy Anderson and Hudson County Community College African American History students.
The opening reception is on January 28, 2025, 1:00PM-3:00PM at the Benjamin J. Dineen III & Deniss C. Hull Gallery, 71 Sip Avenue, 6th Floor, Jersey City, NJ 07306. The reception is partnered with a special lecture by Malcolm X's daughter, Ilyasah Shabazz at the HCCC Culinary Conference Center from 10:30AM to 12:00PM. An evening of artist talk will allow visitors a closer look on February 27th from 6:30PM-8:30PM.
The exhibit will close on March 28th.
